Rozart Art Pottery is our individual effort to recreate the warmth and beauty of the American Art Pottery of the Victorian era. We do not attempt the impossible, to reproduce it. The process is complicated. The decorations are placed on the moist clay before any firing. The colors are mixed with clay and become part of the ware itself. The piece is then fired into biscuit and various overglazes applied in subsequent firings. This method creates an interesting and beautiful effect and a unique art object.
